Another Year! Beautiful new additions to the @PromiseGardens. This post bears repeating! We are excited for the gardening season as we see spring bulbs popping out of the ground and buds on flowering trees. These colors are wonderful and helpful as we create the color for our design this year in our annuals and container gardening. We like the pinks, purples, whites with various hues of light green for this year’s plan. Looking at images of flowers, strolling through garden centers and perusing flower catalogs are a great way to create your spring garden palette.

Oh the Romance of Spring
We are waiting!! Today it is 40+ degrees but we know the flowers will soon be forthcoming. We are shopping for the new plants for the gardens, pruning the roses and chasing rabbits! The squirrels devoured all the tulips in pots/planters — all 200 of them!!! With all of the snow, rain and wet weather, surely it will be glorious!!
How can one resist such beauty when we are surrounded by it? Isn’t it a romantic time of the year with the colors, aroma and romance of spring? We love spring and with everything popping out in the Promise Gardens, glory be, we are drinking in the beauty and will celebrate with garden tours, tea on the porch, glamorous photoshoots and candlelight dinners. Oh the Romance of Spring!
In the Promise Gardens planning, we included many spring-flowering trees and plants: pear, apple, cherry, plum, lilacs, mock orange, azaleas, rhododendron and more. Pair them with spring bulbs and the show wins the season! In your garden plan, include flowering trees, plants and perennials for all seasons so you always have a gorgeous show of color from spring to winter!

Stunning Promise Gardens
It is almost here! The most beautiful time of the year is the Spring and Summer shows of beautiful foliage, flowers, trees and of course, the always gorgeous Rose & Flower Show. The 2021 Rose and Flower Show in May-June will be incredible this year as we institute new changes, additions and surprises. We wish you a “Happy Gardening Spring” as you prepare for the 2021 season. -JacyJoyPals
The Colors of Tulips
“SEE how the flowers, as at parade,
Under their colors stand display’d:
Each regiment in order grows,
That of the tulip, pink, and rose.”

The Promise Gardens begin their beautiful spring flower display with tulips taking center stage. What can be more beautiful in the garden than seeing the first blooms of spring in a colorful array of pastels and popping bright colors? I think that none can take their place. I am transfixed by them as they swirl and dance in the soft winds and how appropriate to photograph them for the new Promise Gardens 2019 Art on Canvas series. Imagine this beauty in a mega large canvas in a room designed with these colors! Stunningly beautiful! My next interior design project for my @ClassyChicHome will be designed using this “Lavender Spring” Art on Canvas as its inspiration. _JacyJoyPals
Spring Garden Planning
It’s that time again gardening friends to plan your gardens for 2019 season. We are creating many new garden beds, moving plants to new locations and the favorite part of it all is choosing beautiful new plants from the plethora of gorgeous ones available to us. This year we will be adding to our four rose gardens new antique, English and modern roses with colorful new borders. For our original Promise Garden on the rock hill where Lydia lives and oversees, we will plant many new flowering bulbs and low-growing flowering ground covers. This are just a few of the additions to the 2019 Promise Gardens so an inspiration storyboard was in order. As all good gardeners say, “it is never too early to plan for our gardens” and “you can never have too many garden beds and flowers.” We wish you inspiration and happy planning your gardens for 2019! #Jacy JoyPals #PromiseGardens
