It’s fall and we are traveling the coast and mountain ranges to view the beautiful fall foliage and partake of the gifts of the season. This is surely a beautiful time of the year filled with autumn colors, gorgeous blue skies, crisp sunny days and yummy fruits of the season. Enjoy and photograph your fall journey to remember during those cold days of winter.
The Promise Gardens fall have been glorious thus far as the season colors change. We have been documenting it through photographs and the Camera Awesome app for iPhone. It is one of the most beautiful times of the year in the gardens. Take a peek… Check our images at Instagram for 2013 fall and our HDRChic sites for fabulous fall places.
The Promise Gardens finish their season with amazing colors and surrounded by beautiful foliage to close out November. Preparations for the winter gardens is underway with a new theme this year. It doesn’t have to be a bare bones garden over winter but interesting and beautiful treatments to cheer in winter can be added with a backdrop of glorious white snow. Until then, the last look at the November foliage before the wind carries all of the foliage away.
How will I leave you beautiful Fall flowers from the Promise Gardens…”the promise of snow” — perhaps!
…you will be missed — your beauty and hues, twirling in the breeze, sunlit glows, shade from the heat, the canopy over lovely places… Today the storm is here, raining heavily, windy and we watch the leaves blow in the wind and fall to be gathered later. We will miss you…
Yesterday we had a glorious day of rain! The gardens were crying for it and so happy to drink it in. I could not venture out in the pouring rain so shot a few photos through the windows. It’s still lovely and I have the blessing of seeing it all day! I hope your view is just as lovely.
Today it is sunny and gorgeous, crisp pre-fall air, breezy and the time for falling leaves begins. I can’t wait to photograph them and hear them crunch under my feet! Happy Gardening!
November, falling leaves and promises of snow. We had our first snowfall in the Promise Gardens early this year; very icy, wet heavy snow which bent trees to the ground, broke leaders off some of our very old large trees. It was quite a sight but beautiful color amidst the snow. We photographed several for posting on the blog and they are forthcoming soon. Enjoy the colors!
